Plaques

One of the benefits of owning a designated heritage property is being able to display a permanent bronze marker attesting to that status. Recently, the Designation Sub-Committee has committed to clearing up the backlog of buildings without their plaques. Since 2005, over 20 plaques have been installed.

Owners who apply for heritage designation today are informed that they are entitled to receive a plaque and should be prepared to display it in a prominent location on the exterior, near the main entrance.
